MEET ROBIN DAUMA

Robin is the Recruitment Specialist for KTECH, combining her experience as a veteran educator with her passion for helping people experience the power of hands-on learning.

 

A native of north Mississippi, Robin has a bachelor's degree in English education from Mississippi University for Women and a Master's in Gifted Education from The University of Alabama. She taught a variety of grade levels and subjects in Madison County and Madison City school districts for a total of 26 years, most recently as an AP English teacher at Bob Jones High School. Throughout her career, Robin sponsored many extracurricular activities, including several dozen teams that participated in Destination Imagination (an interdisciplinary creative problem-solving program), winning multiple state championships and three international titles. She enjoys keeping up with her former students who are out changing the world!

 

Robin is married to Anthony, a software developer, and they have four children (plus a son-in-law), an aging Sheltie, and a 3-legged black cat. She enjoys reading, healthy debate, traveling, home renovation/decorating, thrift store shopping, and adding to her Elvis memorabilia collection.
