KTECH Academy hosted first Virtual Reality showcase

KTECH Academy hosted our Virtual Reality showcase today, welcoming community leaders to witness the VR Academy beta class in action. Our students are senior engineering students at Bob Jones High School. Another big announcement was made at this event: KTECH VR students will earn a 3-hour National credit transferable to community colleges and universities. We continue to prepare students today for tomorrow’s workforce! GoKTECH.org

“Students as part of this class will have an opportunity to interview with a company out of New York called ‘Transfer VR’ and ‘Transfer VR’ will be adding two students to do an internship so the VR academy can directly lead to an internship and additional education,” Dorothy Havens.

Thank you to WHNT, FOX 54, and WAFF 48 for covering the VR Showcase for the city of Madison and Madison City Schools.
